British base in Cyprus on alert

The British base in Cyprus and two other bases in the Middle East were put on the highest alert due to the threats against Israel.

According to officials in the British army, the alert was raised due to intelligence information in their possession and their intention to help Israel intercept any attack if it is indeed attacked.
